Words, poems by Helen Harrison
Helen Harrison was raised on the Wirral, seven miles from Liverpool, by Irish parents. As an adult she moved to St Ives, Cornwall for three years, and has since spent most of her adult life in Co Monaghan, Ireland, where she married with a grown-up daughter. Her first collection of poetry ‘The Last Fire’ was published during 2015 by Lapwing publications, Belfast. During 2016 Helen was invited to read at O’Bheal Poetry Readings in Cork, and the Whitehouse Readings in Limerick. Helen’s poetry has been published in various magazines and journals.
