Failure of institutionalised cooperation in South Asia – Nivedita Jayaram,                       Project Intern at Mantraya.org

Nivedita Jayaram is a recent postgraduate in International Relations from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. She has a B.A. Political Science, Economics and Sociology from Christ University, Bangalore. During her undergraduate studies, she received the French Embassy’s scholarship to study World Politics and War at Sciences Po, Paris. Nivedita’s research interests include Afghanistan and South Asian security, International Politics of the Middle East, and South Asian regional integration. She has previously worked as Research Intern at the Observer Research Foundation where she undertook independent research into India’s Sri Lankan policy in the post-civil war period. In Mantraya, Nivedita is associated with the “Regional Economic and Cooperation and Connectivity in South Asia” project. (With Mantraya since 1 August 2016).
