Eithne Lannon is a poet from Dublin. Her first collection, Earth Music, was published earlier this year by Turas Press and was shortlisted for the 2020 Shine/Strong Award. Other work has been widely published in Ireland and abroad in various publications, anthologies, and on-line. She was winner in 2018 of the Ballyroan Poetry Day Competition and Runner-up in the International Blackwater Poetry Festival and Against the Grain competitions this year. Her writing has been listed in numerous competitions including the Dermot Healy competition, Bray Literary Festival, Yaffle Poetry competition and Galway University Poems for Patience. Her work was also Highly Commended in the Blue Nib Chapbook competition and the Jonathan Swift Awards 2018. Eithne was awarded a Fingal Arts Bursary in 2019 and 2018.
