What I See In a Hamburg Morning, poem by Euan
Euan, ‘Grade 4, International School of Hamburg.
The sun glitters like cheddar cheese
and the frost is a
Massage to my feet.
The wind flows like a little elf
and the trees swing like monsters.
The trunks are like statues.
The sand melts into my feet
Like mud.
The leaves are like raindrops
And the clouds are like rice.
The sky is like an ocean
And the sound of the trees
Are as sweet as blueberry
Muffins.
