Judy Horacek is a freelance cartoonist, illustrator and writer. Her work has appeared in various Australian newspapers, and can be seen on fridges and toilet doors all over the world, and has been exhibited widely, including a retrospective at the National Museum of Australia. She is currently published twice weekly in the Melbourne Age and has a monthly Cartoon Topic of the Month on her website, www.horacek.com.au. Nine collections of her cartoons have been published, the first of which is Life on the Edge, and the most recent is Random Life. Judy also creates children’s picture books – both on her own, such as Yellow is My Colour Star and The Story of Growl, and in collaboration with Mem Fox. Together Mem and Judy created the instant children’s classic, Where is the Green Sheep? Their fifth book together will be released in October 2018. Her website is at www.horacek.com.au
