Canticle, poem by Noel Monahan.

Canticle

That distant joy
Of one having recalled
Fields full of happy memories
Far beyond the potato drills.

Sometimes
A Divine spark
Comes alive for us
In a Line of poetry

And we can return
To that distant joy
Beyond the drills
If only for a short moment.
