Live Encounters Poetry & Writing July 2026
Crescendo, poems by André Stefan.
Crescendo
After Gregory Orr
Rise and fall—
two tides
of the same sea.
To come of age
in this vastness
of time and space.
Noosa Sounds Sijo
Closing the loop before dawn Like the pelican downstream
I gulp; the time that has flown, no river. Today my heart
Pools in prayer—wades into the wake of memories. How blessed.
Waiting Season
A poem toils
away for years
before it ripens
on the vine.
Why, then, are we
so eager
for the Spring?
